  • 1 kg Chicken pieces

  • 200 g Plain Yogurt

  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice

  • 3 tbsp Tandoori Masala

  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder

  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

  • Salt to taste

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

  • Fresh coriander and lemon wedges for garnishing



Begin by washing the chicken pieces and patting them dry.


In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, Tandoori masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt to make the marinade.


Coat the chicken pieces thoroughly in the marinade and let it sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.


Preheat your oven to its maximum temperature. Meanwhile, thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.


Place the skewers in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is well-cooked and slightly charred. Baste with vegetable oil midway to prevent drying.


Garnish with fresh coriander and lemon wedges. Your Tandoori Chicken is ready to serve!
