  • Large skillet

  • Pot for boiling pasta

  • Strainer

  • Knife and cutting board

  • Stirring spoon


  • 8 oz whole wheat fettuccine

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 2 cups fresh spinach

  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs

  • Salt and pepper to taste



Start by cooking the whole wheat fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.


Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.


In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.


In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
