Notes

When preparing Sweet and Sour Chicken, it's important to cut the chicken into even-sized pieces to ensure uniform cooking. Marinate the chicken with a pinch of salt to enhance flavor. To make the sauce more vibrant, you can add a splash of orange or pineapple juice. The key to a glossy sauce is using cornstarch as a thickening agent, but be sure to mix it with a little water before adding it to avoid clumping. Lastly, don’t overcook the vegetables; keeping them slightly crunchy adds a wonderful texture to the dish.
