  • 12 ounces of pasta (spaghetti or linguine)

  • 1 pound of fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup of basil pesto (homemade or store-bought)

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: Fresh basil, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts for garnish
