Equipment

  • a good-quality non-stick skillet

  • a spatula

  • a cutting board

  • a knife

Ingredients

  • Four 6-ounce Salmon Fillets

  • Two tablespoons of Olive Oil

  • One clove of Garlic (minced)

  • One cup of Heavy Cream

  • Two cups of fresh Spinach

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • Fresh Lemon Juice (optional)

  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

1

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add salmon fillets, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 4 minutes on each side. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside.

2

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

3

Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Then add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.

4

Return the salmon to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for a few minutes.

5

Optionally, squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the salmon and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve warm.

Notes

When it comes to cooking, a few tricks can significantly enhance the outcome. Always choose fresh, high-quality salmon fillets for the best taste and texture. Do not overcook the salmon; it should be slightly pink in the center when done. For the spinach, it can be slightly undercooked as it will continue to cook in the sauce. Don’t forget to season your dish well, but remember, you can always add more seasoning, but you can’t take it out. Adding a squeeze of lemon juice can really brighten up the dish, giving it a fresh twist.
