  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

  • A handful of ice cubes

Instructions

1

In a blender, add the pumpkin puree, banana, almond milk, protein powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and sweetener of your choice.

2

Blend until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. This should take about 1-2 minutes.

3

Add the ice cubes and blend again until the shake is smooth and frothy.

4

Pour into a glass, sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

I love sharing tips that can enhance your cooking experience. For this protein shake, ensure that the banana is ripe for a naturally sweet taste. If using canned pumpkin, ensure it is 100% pure pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling which contains added sugars and spices. Adding a pinch of salt can heighten the flavors. You can also experiment with different protein powders; plant-based options work great for vegans!
