Notes

When preparing this Green Mac and Cheese, I suggest using fresh vegetables for optimum flavor. However, if you're in a pinch, frozen vegetables will work. Don't be afraid to experiment with different types of cheese for a unique twist. I recommend using whole grain macaroni for a nuttier taste and extra fiber. When making the sauce, ensure the milk is warm, as it helps in achieving a smooth consistency. Also, add the cheese gradually and keep stirring to avoid clumps. If you like a bit of crunch, sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top before baking.
