  • Large pot

  • Large mixing bowl

  • Baking dish

  • Cheese grater

  • Knife and cutting board


  • 4 cups of broccoli florets

  • 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish



Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).


In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.


In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden brown.


In a large bowl, combine the sautéed onions and garlic with broccoli, milk, Greek yogurt, half of the cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.


Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the rest of the cheese and breadcrumbs on top.


Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
