  • A wok or large frying pan

  • A sharp knife

  • Cutting board

  • Mixing bowls

  • A spatula or large spoon


  • 400g lean beef strips

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, snow peas)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1-inch ginger, grated

  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: sesame seeds, fresh herbs (such as cilantro), lime wedges



Start by slicing the beef into thin strips.


In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Marinate the beef in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.


Cut vegetables into bite-sized pieces.


Heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat and add olive oil.


Add the beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes or until it’s nearly cooked. Remove and set aside.


In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed, and stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
