  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Optional toppings: sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped cilantro, green onions.



In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.


Add the onions and garlic, sauté until they are soft, about 5 minutes.
