Equipment

  • a cutting board

  • a sharp knife

  • a large bowl for marinating

  • a pot for blanching broccoli

  • a wok or large frying pan for stir-frying

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips

  • 2 cups of broccoli florets

  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a large bowl, marinate the chicken strips with the soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it rest for about 10 minutes.

In the meantime, blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
