  • Large skillet

  • Mixing bowl

  • Measuring spoons

  • Stirring spoon


  • Large shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 500g

  • BBQ sauce - 1/2 cup

  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp

  • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp

  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves

  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - for garnish

  • Salt & Pepper to taste



In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.


Add the shrimp to the bowl and marinate for 10 minutes.


Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.


Add the shrimp along with the marinade to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink.


Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.


When the shrimp turns pink, it’s an indication that it's cooked. Marinating the shrimp for at least 10 minutes in the BBQ sauce will enhance the flavor. For an added kick, you can mix a dash of hot sauce into the BBQ sauce. If you have the luxury of time, using homemade BBQ sauce can elevate the dish even more.
