  • 2 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

Add the chicken pieces and cook them for 4-5 minutes until they are browned and cooked through.

5

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

In the same skillet, add the mixed vegetables and cook for another 4-5 minutes until they are crisp-tender.

Notes

I recommend a few tips to enhance your Hibachi Chicken Bowl. Firstly, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and garlic for at least 30 minutes for a deeper flavor. Use fresh vegetables for a crisp texture. Cook the chicken and vegetables on high heat quickly to keep them tender. Customize the sauce by adding a splash of rice vinegar or a dash of chili flakes for an extra kick. Lastly, feel free to substitute brown rice with quinoa or cauliflower rice for variation.
