Easy and Delicious Greek Chicken Bowl Recipe Details

  • Grill or frying pan

  • Mixing bowls

  • Cooking utensils (spatula, knife, etc.)

  • Measuring spoons and cups


  • 500g boneless chicken breasts

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 cucumber, diced

  • 2 tomatoes, diced

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa or rice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh dill for garnish

  • Pitted Kalamata olives

  • You can add some of your favorite ingredients such as cheese, boiled chickpeas and so on.



In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate for 30 minutes.


In another bowl, mix Greek yogurt and diced cucumber. Set aside.


Grill the chicken on medium heat for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.


While the chicken is grilling, prepare your quinoa or rice.


Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice it.


Assemble the bowls by laying a base of quinoa or rice, then add the chicken, diced tomatoes, red onions, Kalamata olives, and Greek yogurt sauce.
