  • Grill or oven

  • Large mixing bowl

  • Chopping board

  • Brush for oil

  • Skewers (optional)


  • 500g minced beef

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Olive oil for brushing



First, preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.


In a large bowl, combine the minced beef, chopped onion, parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.


Mix well, but don't overdo it.


Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small logs or patties.
