Notes

Quality bread is essential; choose a good baguette or ciabatta. Opt for ripe tomatoes as they are juicier and more flavorful. Don't shy away from garlic; it's the heart of this dish. Additionally, don’t go light on fresh basil - not only does it add flavor, but it also brings an incredible aroma to the dish. If you want to add an extra zing, drizzle some balsamic vinegar over the top before serving. Lastly, make sure your olive oil is of high quality, as it binds all the flavors together.
